Recognition
Competitions and academic recognition
A few of the projects I’m most proud of came from competitions where there was a short deadline, a concrete problem and a clear need to make the idea work.
Academic Excellence Award, IFRI
I graduated 2nd out of 84 students in the 2024 Software Engineering class at IFRI, with a cumulative average of 15.26/20. My final-year project was graded 18/20.
First Prize, AFG Level Up Hackathon
Our solution focused on insurance operations. We built a platform using OCR for claims data entry, a voice-enabled chatbot for accessibility and location-based partner recommendations.
First Prize, FRIARE Smart Cities Hackathon
We worked on an AIoT parking system combining vehicle detection, secure access control and a real-time monitoring dashboard.
Third Prize, ASIN Multimodal AI Hackathon
The challenge focused on AI for Beninese languages. Our project handled subtitling, translation and dubbing, including Fon and Yoruba.
First Prize, MIFY Artificial Intelligence Contest
I built an AI agent for Morabaraba in Python. The system had to understand the board state and choose moves in real time using game algorithms.
I have also taken part in the AUF Digital Hackathon and the DGI Fiscathon, where the focus was respectively on student support and simplified invoicing.
